A joyous day full of celebrations for the Jewish community of Cyprus.

 

We had the honour of introducing a new Sefer Torah scroll to the Jewish community of Limassol. The Jewish community of Limassol has been run by Rabbi Yair and Geula Baitz for over 8 years now. The introduction of new Sefer torah scroll was a blessing observed by many notable Rabbis, guests, and of course the Jewish congregation of Limassol.

 

The chief rabbi of Cyprus, Rabbi Arie Zeev Raskin, attended and welcomed the celebration with an open heart and much joy. “It is a great source of happiness to see our Jewish communities grow and flourish so quickly and provide services to the Jewish population and its thousands of thousands of tourists yearly.”
